Year 4 - Einstein Class

Welcome to Einstein Class

Our class teacher is: Miss Balchin and our LSA is Mrs Agius.

This term our learning journey in History is The History of Flight; In Geography we are studying Settlements and Land Use; In Science we are learning about Electricity; and in D&T we are exploring building structures and fastenings such as buttons.

During our class novel time we will be reading a range of exciting books and the children will have the opportunity to vote for their class novels, which will be shared as a whole class.

Please ensure your child’s reading diary and reading book comes into school every day. Please also ensure that your child brings a water bottle with them each day.

Monday – Spelling test

Tuesday – PE day (All children come into school in their PE kits)

Things that help us learn

We use Times Tables Rock Stars to support children in the run up to the times tables check, please practice it as frequently as possible and we will be continuing to use Google Classroom as our online learning platform in Key Stage 2. Homework will be sent home with children in hard copy. Reading books are sent home on a weekly basis which are pitched at your child’s current reading ability. Weekly spellings are sent home to consolidate the SPaG rules the children have been learning that week.
