Year 4 - Einstein Class

Welcome to Einstein Class

Our class teacher is: Miss Balchin and our LSA is Mrs Agius.

This term our learning journey in History is Vikings and Anglo Saxons; In Geography we are studying climates and biomes; In Science we are learning about living things and their environments; and in Art we are exploring drawing and engraving.

During our class novel time we will be reading a range of exciting books and the children will have the opportunity to vote for their class novels, which will be shared as a whole class.

Please ensure your child’s reading diary and reading book comes into school every day. Please also ensure that your child brings a water bottle with them each day.

Monday – Spelling test

Tuesday – PE day (All children come into school in their PE kits)

Wednesday – Spellings set and homework set.

Things that help us learn

We use Mathletics to support children’s home learning and we will be continuing to use Google Classroom as our online learning platform in Key Stage 2. Reading books are sent home on a weekly basis which are pitched at your child’s current reading ability. Weekly spellings are sent home to consolidate the SPaG rules the children have been learning that week.
