Our Mission Statement

At our school, with Jesus in our hearts, we have:

The passion to learn,

The courage to fail,

The strength to love.

Welcome to St Bernadette’s

This website is designed to give you an insight into the life and work of St Bernadette’s. We hope that you find it interesting and informative and that you decide to visit our school with your family.

At St Bernadette’s our aim is to create a welcoming, well organised learning environment where love, respect and justice are reflected in the behaviour and attitudes of all members of our community.

Prayer and worship are important elements of our daily life; children are encouraged to develop their personal relationship with God as they learn the importance of love and respect for all and how these values are reflected in their own behaviour and attitudes.

We concern ourselves with each individual in our school community. Our children are encouraged to have high expectations of themselves, both personally and academically, as they grow towards their full potential in all areas.

We strive to create, maintain and strengthen strong links between home, school and parish, which are of great importance to us as we work in partnership for the benefit of all our children and families.

Please do come and visit St Bernadette’s and experience for yourself the real ethos and motivation of our school.
