What is the School Games Mark?

The School Games Mark is a Government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Schools in England are awarded bronze, silver and gold levels.  St Bernadette's has been awarded Gold level for three consecutive years.

 

At St Bernadette's we are fully committed to promoting PE and school sport.  We believe that physial activity can have a positive impact on pupils' well-being, self esteem, physical development, engagement and enjoyment. 

 

Olympic Legacy

Since 2012, the school has actively promoted the Oympic and Paralympic Values of Friendship, Respect, Excellence, Determination, Inspiration, Courage and Equality.
