“It was great to have a fun and relaxing breakfast before our SATs.”
“It was lovely to go in early and chat to my friends. It also took my mind off SATs and calmed me down.”
During SATs Week (8th-11th May), to help ease the nerves, Year 6 pupils were invited to have breakfast in school with their class friends and teachers.
Over the week, Year 6 enjoyed a delicious selection of food from the traditional bacon and sausage rolls to the more
continental cheese, ham, bread and yoghurts.
The breakfasts were extremely popular and the school has received positive feedback from both pupils and parents.
Acting Headteacher Mr Lee said: " Breakfast during SATS week was fantastic! The children and staff loved it, as it helped prepare pupils for the tests. Special thanks to the team of staff who prepared and served a really tasty breakfast for the week.”
